EveryoneProlific Australian singer and Hillsong songwriter Reuben Morgan has just released his second album, Everyone. It's an album of intimate worship moments and high energy praise. Songs include "Reign in All the Earth", "Let Creation Sing", "Emmanuel" and some bonus classics such as "Eagles Wings" and "Still".
Reuben nurtured his passion for worship with a United Church when his parents were in mission in Papua New Guinea. "They would belt out those hymns. I remember baptism services down by the sea. They would all wear white. Whenever I hear old hymns like 'There's Power in the Blood', I still hear our church singing. You had the men on one side and the women on the other. Everyone took part, and they were just singing with everything."
Today, almost 100 songs later, Reuben Morgan is back in mission and in Papua New Guinea. Reuben and his wife, Sarah, are working with Wycliffe Bible Translators on a project to help educate the local population on HIV and AIDS prevention measures.
Reuben's heart for mission has influenced the Everyone album. "Everyone is about every Christian, every believer, every person, getting involved and getting a heart for the mission of Christianity - the mission of Christ. It's about us really putting legs on what we believe. We don't just sing songs and get involved in God's presence and then not become part of the answer. Everyone should be involved."
