Offerings II — All I Have To Give
Third Day

The first time that I heard this album I didn't enjoy listening to it. I skipped right to the end and listened to a song, which I already knew ("Your Love Oh Lord"). Once I finally sat down and listened to the music I realised what I had been missing. Lead singer Mac Powell's voice has a unique edge to it which, even though it sounds as though he should sing in the band Counting Crows, does complement the amazing sounds this band produces.

This album is a worship album, so every song can be used to worship God. The lyrics throughout are extremely humbling. Each song puts you on the spot and makes you ask yourself whether you have been living your life as God would want you to live it, or if you're living it your own way. Lines such as, "My heart cries out my spirit shouts I'll praise your name forevermore" ("The Everlasting"), show us the dedication of Third Day to the Lord and encourage us to rethink our situation.

All up, this is an excellent album, which gets better each time you listen to it. I recommend it to everyone who needs a jump-start back on course or to anyone who loves great Christian music.
