Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson stars as a disgraced hockey player who is sentenced to duty as a tooth fairy for two weeks because he has a tendency to crush the dreams of those around him — particularly those of his girlfriend’s daughter.
Cue lots of hi-jinks as The Rock learns how to be nice instead of nasty as well as deliver the goods as a tooth fairy.
As flimsily plotted as the tutu The Rock wears, this family comedy has all the right sentimental notes and lessons to be learned in light entertainment.
Amongst the usual co-stars Julie Andrews is perfectly cast as the queen of the fairy realm. This will keep the under tens happy, adults need not apply.
